About Us

SeleniumWatch.org is sponsored by Selenium Information and Research, a non-profit consortium of scientists, researchers and engineers concerned with the growing evidence of adverse health and environmental effects from increased use by industry of products containing selenium, notably the rapid rise of imports of manganese metal containing selenium, and inadequate knowledge of proper disposal processes for hazardous wastes containing selenium. This website is offered as a central point for all relevant information. Submissions of information on Recent Developments relating to selenium in the environment are welcomed.

The website is sponsored by a grant from the Environmental Health Research Foundation (www.ehrf.info).
